Smugly Beige - a group of actors and comedians from the North East of England who have set out to generate comedy shows and plays for the entertainment and enjoyment of anyone who cares to watch.

Smugly Beige formed in 2005 for the purpose of visiting the Edinburgh Fringe to perform in front of a wider audience and begin a professional career in comedy. Most of the members of Smugly Beige met during college, with the exception of a few who met at school, and two who inevitably met because they are brothers. Each of the members has always shared a passion for comedy, spanning over many genres and styles. There is plenty of scope for further experimentation and development in their future work as they continue to evolve and improve their methods for each and every performance.
